Superstar Fundraisers: Bramhall Methodist Church Thrift Shop

Abaseen Foundation UK would like to sincerely thank the volunteers at Bramhall Methodist Church for their efforts in raising over £2000 for our projects in Pakistan.

These funds were raised through the long-running Thrift Shop organised and run by Church volunteers — volunteers gather items from wherever they can and donate funds from the sale of items to worthy charities, Abaseen being one such charity.

The work of Abaseen came to the attention of Church volunteers as a result of our CEO Helen’s interview on BBC North West Tonight. We’re so pleased that word is spreading regarding our vital projects.

The funds raised will now be directed to Abaseen’s Flood Relief work — you can see how we’ve been distributing the funds raised through our Flood Appeal here.

The Bramhall Methodist Church Thrift Shop continues to be open Monday to Friday, 10am - 4pm, and 10am-1pm on Saturday, raising money for fantastic local, national and international charities. Pay them a visit if you can!
