Statement on Climate Change

Our Board of Governors in Pakistan and Board of Trustees in the UK have released a statement:

We have taken a strategic decision that we will add a fifth dimension added to to our core work of Health, Education, Research and Humanitarian Relief.

This is Climate Sensitive Projects.

This will include always considering the impact on the climate of our current projects, our future projects and attempting to influence others working with us and around us to do the same.

With the climate crisis escalating across the world, we feel now is the right time to full integrate a climate-first approach into our work. The recent floods in Pakistan show the devasting impact of climate change on communities and we must make efforts to address this as time is running out to avoid unalterable catastrophe.
