Eileen Waddington

Eileen has a professional background in Health and Social Care. During her time with the North West Regional Health Authority she led the program for resettling people in the community from long stay hospitals and facilitating joint working across the health, social care and independent sector. In her post of Head of Community Care with the Nuffield Institute at the University of Leeds she developed a program of international work particularly in Eastern Europe, from there moving on to develop her own consultancy.

In her work as a Trustee of Abaseen Foundation, Eileen is particularly interested in developing the potential of girls through educational opportunities, promoting women’s health and working in partnership with the Abaseen Foundation community in North West Pakistan to improve their health and well-being.
