A Brief Update on our Period Poverty Project

Abaseen Foundation volunteers have distributed MHM kits in the flood affected families of Swat in Mohala Bangladesh Mingora.

4000 reusable pads from Pachamama were made into 800 packs for local women and distributed at an event organised by Majid Fareedun and supported by the three principals from the Abaseen schools: Miss Azra, Miss Shazia, Miss Aysha and Mukhtiar Zaman.

Here's a gallery of photos from the event:

Our projects, such as this one, rely entirely on your kind generosity to keep going. We receive no money whatsoever from the UK or Pakistani Governments and therefore your contributions are essential for keeping these vitally important projects going. Please consider making a donation today - even a few pounds can really make a huge difference.
