Fundraise for Abaseen

We are extremely grateful for any contributions made towards our projects via donations, participation in events, or in dedicated fundraising activities. Our projects can are funded entirely by the kindness of people who recognise the plight of those living in North West Pakistan - we receive no funding whatsoever from the UK Government or Government of Pakistan.

Here’s some ways in which you could raise funds to help support our work:

🍰 Organise an afternoon tea and make a small change, with the surplus being donated to us

🏃‍♀️ Undertake a challenge such as a hillwalk or a run

🚲 Participate in an existing sponsored event, like a marathon or a cycling race

🍽️ Organise a fundraising dinner and ask us to come and present our work

🪒 Set up a personal challenge, such as shaving your head for donations or giving up a habit

🧁 Bake and sell goods and donate the proceeds

🛍️ If you work in or own a retail business, set up a digital donation kiosk at your checkout desk

🖼️ Create and sell handmade crafts or art and donate the proceeds

🚘 Host a car boot or garage sale and donate the proceeds

🎁 Create holiday-themed fundraisers, such as a Christmas gift wrapping service or an Easter egg hunt

📚 Set up a donation drive - collect items like clothing, books, or toys and donate the proceeds from selling them

👕 Make things to sell - for example, the high-quality quilts made by one of our trustees, clothes, knitwear, cakes

💷 Ask your employer to set up a Pennies from Heaven payroll giving scheme

Whatever your idea to help raise funds to support our work, we’ll provide custom support including information, marketing materials, digital resources for fundraising and in-person assistance where possible and desired.
